We love when a couple chooses to spend their honeymoon with us and we love it even more when they share their feedback about their stay! We recently hosted newlyweds, Daniel and Stephanie, at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa. The bride posted a detailed blog post sharing inside details about what it is like to honeymoon at our resort. Today, we are thrilled to share with you some great excerpts from their honeymoon blog:
The room:
“After being shown around the resort, we were taken to our gorgeous ocean front room on the second floor. Our patio had its own private Jacuzzi! It was truly paradise. Oh, and they also had a “Honeymoon” banner on our door as soon as we arrived. (It’s really the little things that made it truly an amazing experience.)”
The excursions:
“Though we could have spent every single second on the resort without ever being bored, we did decide to do two excursions: ziplining and Bavaro splash. Ziplining was amazing and I believe that the one in DR is the biggest in the world. Such an adrenaline rush, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Bavaro splash included taking a trip to Bavaro beach, snorkeling, SNUBA and speedboat racing. I would highly recommend this excursion too.”
Special moments:
“Some of the special moments in our trip include getting breakfast served to our room. We also had a romantic beach-front dinner at sunset. It was under a white canopy that’s path was lined with flower petals. We sat right in front of the ocean and were served a delicious meal—this was the point where I looked at my husband and said, “I never want to leave!” When we got back to the room that night, our Jacuzzi was filled with bubbles and flower petals and there were candles lit all around the rim. They also had a bottle of champagne and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries—we were spoiled I tell you!”
Overall experience:
“We both have zero complaints about this trip except that it was too short and time flies when you are in paradise. We would love to go back soon and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a honeymoon destination. The service was top notch and the value was greater than I could have ever expected. We will never forget our vacation to Dreams Punta Cana. It truly was a dream!”
