We are excited for next month’s Hamburger Festival at Dreams Cancun Resort & Spa, Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa and Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa! Guests staying at participating properties during the month of April can enjoy 10 special mouthwatering hamburgers. Our chefs take the ordinary burger and transform it into a flavorful creation.

There is even a chance for you to win a free stay during Hamburger Festival! Participate in our Build Your Perfect Burger Sweepstakes for a chance to win a 3-night stay at participating resorts in April.

Plus, once you are on property you have even more chances to win big!  Upon check in guests will receive a passport with pictures of all of the different burgers on it. Each time a guest enjoys one of the 10 featured burger they will get a stamp on their passport. Everyone that gets all 10 burgers stamps are entered into a raffle to win a 7-night stay! The second contest encourages guests to choose for their favorite hamburger by dropping a ticket into a ballot box in the resorts’ lobby. A random winner will be selected at each resort to enjoy a complimentary 3-night stay.

Mexican Fiesta at Dreams Puerto Aventuras

Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa recently hosted a group dinner on the beach complete with authentic cuisine, live entertainment and colorful decorations. Guests were served a variety of authentic Mexican favorites including fresh guacamole and handmade tortilla chips. Pork tacos were a popular menu item with the group. There was a station where a talented member of the food and beverage team, Gabby, crafted handmade corn tortillas to order for the pork tacos.

The Explorer’s Club for kids age 3-12 years old at Dreams Huautlco Resort & Spa  is out of this world! The younger guests will have the time of their lives playing games and making new friends. The Explorer’s Club, included in your Unlimited-Luxury® privileges, is wonderful not only for kids but for parents who finally get to enjoy some of their own. Kids Dining in Style at Dreams Puerto Aventuras

Not just the grownups enjoy fine dining at Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa; the children at the Explorer’s Club recently enjoyed Gala Dinner! Our staff went above and beyond to make the kids feel special for an evening of dining at the resort’s Italian Restaurant, Portofino.  

The special night started out by letting the children’s parents know what we were planning and asked them to bring them to the Explorer’s Club dressed up. Adding to their formal attire we gave out neck ties and hats for the boys and sparkling tiaras for the girls, making them feel like princes and princesses.

 When the group of young guests arrived at the restaurant they received VIP treatment. They were greeted with a mocktail, non-alcoholic beverage served in a fancy glass, and then shown to their reserved table. Their table was set with elegant yet kid-friendly decorations helping to set the mood for the special Gala Dinner. A tasty three-course meal was prepared and served by our Food and Beverage Team. Here at Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa we have many exciting activities for our younger guests at the Explorer’s Club for Kids.  A popular one is the Mini Chef Class which teaches kids baking techniques! The best part is they get to taste their creations after the class.  If you are visiting soon with your little ones be sure to check the schedule for the weekly activities with the Explorer’s Club for Kids ages 3 -12 so you don’t miss anything.

Dreams Resorts & Spas Celebrates Dia de Reyes with Guests

This past Friday, January 6th many Dreams Resorts & Spas in Mexico celebrated Dia de Reyes also known as Three Kings Day or the Epiphany. It is a Catholic holiday that is celebrated on the same day each year, 12 days after Christmas. It is believed that baby Jesus was visited by three wise men giving him gifts gold, frankincense and myrrh. In Mexico this holiday is widely celebrated!  

Part of the traditions included drinking hot chocolate and cutting pieces of the traditional sweetbread topped with candied fruit, Rosca de Reyes. This special sweetbread is a tradition that has been going on for years. The shape of the bread is in an oval representing the kings’ crowns and the colorful candied fruit on top represent the jewels of the crown. Each guest cut their own slice of the bread and inside one of the pieces is hidden a figure of baby Jesus. It is said that the person who finds the figurine is responsible to host a party and prepare tamales to be enjoyed on February 2nd.

 Santa arrived at Dreams Resorts & Spas on Christmas day to visit all of the good boys and girls staying with us! He left his reindeer at the North Pole and made his grand entrance very exciting and unique at each property. We had so much fun celebrating the holidays with our guests. Haunted House at Dreams Punta Cana

Halloween is a thrilling time to be a guest at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa. Our talented entertainment team has already begun celebrations and will continue for the remainder of the month. We know teenagers especially enjoy this holiday, so we have some extra special activities planned just for them. 

Core Zone for teens is going to have a Haunted House on Halloween! The teens will be spooked out by our decorations and creative take on the holiday.  Decorations are already up around the Core Zone in preparation for the main event on October 31st. 

Some other fun activities that are included in the plans to celebrate Halloween are face painting, pumpkin carving and trick or treating! Bring your little ones for a time to remember at Dreams Punta Cana. It’s not too late to book a last-minute vacation for Halloween, reserve your stay now.

Our mechanical bull is available for guests every Tuesday on the beach. Combining technique and strength, participants can compete against each other to see who has what it takes to hold on the longest. It’s a fun way to show off to your friends and family and walk away with some serious bragging rights if you’re lucky!
