We are excited for next month’s Hamburger Festival at Dreams Cancun Resort & Spa, Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa, Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa and Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa! Guests staying at participating properties during the month of April can enjoy 10 special mouthwatering hamburgers. Our chefs take the ordinary burger and transform it into a flavorful creation.

There is even a chance for you to win a free stay during Hamburger Festival! Participate in our Build Your Perfect Burger Sweepstakes for a chance to win a 3-night stay at participating resorts in April.

Here’s how to enter:

1)    ‘Like’ Dreams Cancun, Dreams Riviera Cancun, Dreams Puerto Aventuras or Dreams Tulum on Facebook 

2)    Build your favorite burger by selecting toppings

3)    Give your burger a name

4)    Enter for your chance to win a free stay

Plus, once you are on property you have even more chances to win big!  Upon check in guests will receive a passport with pictures of all of the different burgers on it. Each time a guest enjoys one of the 10 featured burger they will get a stamp on their passport. Everyone that gets all 10 burgers stamps are entered into a raffle to win a 7-night stay! The second contest encourages guests to choose for their favorite hamburger by dropping a ticket into a ballot box in the resorts’ lobby. A random winner will be selected at each resort to enjoy a complimentary 3-night stay.

Mexican Fiesta at Dreams Puerto Aventuras

Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa recently hosted a group dinner on the beach complete with authentic cuisine, live entertainment and colorful decorations. Guests were served a variety of authentic Mexican favorites including fresh guacamole and handmade tortilla chips. Pork tacos were a popular menu item with the group. There was a station where a talented member of the food and beverage team, Gabby, crafted handmade corn tortillas to order for the pork tacos.

Kids Dining in Style at Dreams Puerto Aventuras

Not just the grownups enjoy fine dining at Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa; the children at the Explorer’s Club recently enjoyed Gala Dinner! Our staff went above and beyond to make the kids feel special for an evening of dining at the resort’s Italian Restaurant, Portofino.  

The special night started out by letting the children’s parents know what we were planning and asked them to bring them to the Explorer’s Club dressed up. Adding to their formal attire we gave out neck ties and hats for the boys and sparkling tiaras for the girls, making them feel like princes and princesses.

 When the group of young guests arrived at the restaurant they received VIP treatment. They were greeted with a mocktail, non-alcoholic beverage served in a fancy glass, and then shown to their reserved table. Their table was set with elegant yet kid-friendly decorations helping to set the mood for the special Gala Dinner. A tasty three-course meal was prepared and served by our Food and Beverage Team. Sip, Savor & See Dining Experience

As a way to further enhance the Unlimited-Luxury® concept at Dreams Resorts & Spas, we have launched the all-new Sip, Savor & See Dining Experience program. Sip, Savor & See allows guests staying at one Dreams Resorts & Spas to experience another nearby AMResorts property for dinner and nightly entertainment.

Below is a list of participating resorts. To take advantage of the Sip, Savor & See Dining Experience during your stay, simply speak to the resort concierge upon arrival.

Riviera Cancun/Cancun: Guests of Dreams Cancun, Dreams Riviera Cancun, Dreams Puerto Aventuras and Dreams Tulum have the option to dine at each other’s restaurants as well as Now Jade and Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun. There are 36 dining options total for guests of Dreams in the Mexican Caribbean.

Puerto Vallarta: Guests staying at Dreams Villamagna and Dreams Puerto Vallarta have the option to dine at each other’s restaurants as well as Now Amber. There are 16 dining options total for guests of Dreams in Puerto Vallarta.

Dominican Republic: Guests staying at Dreams Punta Cana, Dreams Palm Beach and Dreams La Romana have the option to dine at each other’s restaurants as well as Now Larimar. There are 28 dining options for guests of Dreams in the Dominican Republic.

A New Resort Activity: Paddle Surfing

Guests at Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta will now have access to a fun, new activity called Paddle Surfing! Paddle Surfing is an emerging global sport with Hawaiian heritage where individuals stand on a surf board, but paddle their way through the ocean.

At Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta, guests who wish to learn how to paddle surf can participate in a clinic in the pool at our resort. From there, they can choose to rent the board per hour or take a private lesson from Pacific Paddle. For more information, simply stop by our activities desk upon arrival! Dreams Resorts & Spas is excited to launch a new guest blogger program. We are excited to give you a different perspective on our resorts and destinations. Our first partnership is with Matt Long, a reputable travel writer of Land Lopers.com. This Friday he will be arriving in Puerto Vallarta to experience Unlimited-Luxury® and the west cost of Mexico for the first time. 

Matt will spend four days at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa getting the same exceptional treatment that all of our guests receive.  During his trip he will have the opportunity to visit nearby sister-resort, Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta. After his trip he will be contributing informative blog posts here for you to get a glimpse of what it’s like to be a guest at Dreams Resorts & Spas. We look forward to his firsthand stories that will come out of his trip to Puerto Vallarta this weekend.  

He is really looking forward to our partnership and shared some details with his readers on his site. He said, “I’m an active traveler and so I will be exploring the local areas as well to see what’s there and whether or not it makes for a truly great travel destination.
