At the Explorer’s Club for Kids at Dreams Puerto Aventuras, one of the most common questions we hear is a variation on, “What if my child isn’t having fun?” Sometimes parents ask, “What if they don’t want to stay at the Kid’s Club?” And, sometimes, parents don’t even try and drop their children off because they know that, “My son/daughter wouldn’t be happy there.”
.
Well, to those questions and concerns we say, “Give it a chance!” The Explorer’s Club for Kids is a great way for parents to get alone time while children enjoy fun activities and games with new friends. We provide all parents with a beeper and can easily get in touch if your child isn’t having fun or needs you for any reason (say, a sunscreen reapplication).

This week, we want to share pictures of a new activity hosted by the Explorer’s Club for Kids that really helps children warm up to the Club, each other and the staff … a Pajama Party on the beach full of fun ice breaker activities complete with dinner served on beds!
That looks like tons of fun! My 6 year old is slow to warm up to new people/situations. This would be a perfect way to get to know staff and other kids. What a great idea!
i would love to take my kids there and see how much fun they have! omg, they’d love it!
I can’t wait to get there Oct. 6th! I think my 9 year old son is going to love the club! He really loved the Disney cruise last year and said he wanted to be a Cast Member when he grew up! So I think he (and me and hubby!) are in for a great time!
Thanks for sharing this! I’ve been trying to find more information on the Kid’s Club. Looks awesome!
Wow, this looks like so much fun for the kids. It’s great to see photos of the kids at their awesome pajama party. I love that you can go out as a couple and have a beeper in case your child needs you. It would make a date night relaxing and put me at ease that my child could reach me whenever he wants!
On the Dreams web site ( http://www.dreamsresorts.com/drenv/explorers-club.html ) it says, “Once a week, the Explorer’s Club offers an overnight camping adventure. ”
Is this true? Someone told me the overnight wasn’t offered. I’ve read some negative reports regarding the Dreams web site saying Villamagna offered this or that, but that it wasn’t true. I’m hoping the overnight is, because I know my son would love it.
Can anyone offer any insight? Getting emails back from Villamagna is hit and miss, so I thought I’d ask here.
Thanks!
The kids stay until 11 or 11:30 PM. It is NOT all night. But enough for parents to have a evening alone without paying for after hours babysitting.
Thanks, Wayne! 🙂
I just wish Dreams wouldn’t say one thing on their site, only to find out it wasn’t true. If it’s not overnight, they shouldn’t say it is.
But I’m very glad they offer this option! 🙂
