Traveling with the Family

As parents begin to plan their spring and Easter break vacations, I thought it would be a good time to show you what our Explorer’s Club for Kids has to offer. Each Dreams Resort & Spa features an Explorer’s Club for children 3 to 12 years old, where kids can enjoy time with other kids in a supervised environment. While at the Explorer’s Club, kids are treated to endless activities like treasure hunts, arts and crafts, water sports and organized games. Although I am not yet a parent, I am sure I am going to be a worry wart, but there is no need to worry about your children when they are at the Explorer’s Club. Parents are given a pager in case they are needed and all of our staff meeting U.S. safety regulations, including being certified in CPR and First Aid.

Still want to know more? Check out these comments from guests about our Explorer’s Club:

Dreams Cancun:

“We just returned last night. My 4 year old loved the kids club. After the first day there she woke up in the morning and the first thing she said is “I want to go to camp!” I also have a 2 year old who is almost 3. they allowed the 2 year old to go for an hour, but after she was fine could stay longer than an hour. She speaks very well and can… See More keep up with my 4 year old no problem. I think this was because it wasn’t a busy week and there weren’t too many children. You fill out a form at the first time you drop off your child and it asks their birthdate. They don’t have the passport but I suppose it’s the ‘honor system’. That said we had to convince the younger child to go, but my 4 year old would not stop asking to go. ”

Dreams Riviera Cancun:

“Kids Club staff are all wonderful, so I wouldn’t worry at all…”

Dreams Puerto Aventuras:

“If anyone is contemplating where to go on vacation, look no further. This is it. The service is impeccable. The rooms are cleaned twice a day with always extra towels beer and chocolates. The food was fabulous and our kids loved the explorer club. Thank you girls for looking after my boys and giving me and my husband the break we needed and thank you Jennifer for looking after my family so well. I was very sad to leave. You will be in our thoughts for a long time and we will be back again.”

“Love the Explorers Club, your kids are in great hands. ”

Dreams La Romana:

“There is a kids club we took our 9 yr old grandson and he thought the core zone was the coolest place he loved it and made lots of friends hope this helps.”

  1. This club is the best, my 7 year old was with us when we got married last year at Dreams Cancun. My 18 month old was too young to go to the club but my 7 year old wanted to spend every given moment here. The staff were wonderful she was made to feel at home and fit right in. She insisted on going for lunches and dinner with them nearly every day, the beeper system that they have is ideal, they simply beep you if your child or they need you and it saves having to find you in the resort. She made so many friends and she was so sad leaving but they gave her a little back back and some items as a gift it was really thoughtful, she still talks about it to this day and asks when we are going back.
