As you may know, we’re honoring our repeat guests at Dreams Punta Cana by giving away a free 3-night VIP stay at our resort. To enter the contest, guests are asked to share a memory about their time spent with us. In honor of the final week of our contest, we’ve decided to showcase just a few of the comments we’ve received thus far.
- “I still dream about Dreams since our trip this past November. This was our first trip as a family with our little ones so we were a little nervous but that quickly diminished when we saw how beautiful the resort was, yummy the food was and how much fun in the sun we had. Our best experience was with the staff! Truly amazing people who took the time to get to know our children (2 and 4 years) and made a point of coming to say hi to them all the time. While there my son celebrated his 4th birthday and the resort provided a cake and balloons for him. One of the ladies at the Kid’s Club knew that he was afraid to leave us and come into the club but she knew he REALLY wanted one of their hats so before we left she came and found us and presented our son with a hat. He was over the moon and still wears his hat all the time with a BIG smile on his face We also forgot to bring a battery for my son’s b-day present that we brought for him and it wasn’t sold at the resort. One of the ladies who knew my son went after her shift that evening when she was to be home with her family and bought us a battery for my son’s gift. Now THAT is customer service. Long reply but just wanted to say that HANDS DOWN the truly amazing people that work at Dreams are what make the experience amazing and makes us want to come back soon!!”
- “I can honestly say that my vacation at Dreams Punta Cana was the best time of my entire life! It was so amazing I cried when I came home and have been itching to come back ever since. I traveled to Dreams for one week with my mother. The resort was gorgeous, the food was to die for, the beach was stunning… never a dull moment. Overall my mother and I agree that the entertainment team made our vacation. There was always activities , shows, or something new to experience. We got to dance, learn Spanish, participate in the Olympics, horseshoes, arm wrestling, hula hooping, ice breakers… it goes on. But we were just so happy all the time. Thank you so much . We are definitely coming back!!!!!”

I can not thank them enough for caring for Dylan and Amelia as if they were their own children. We don’t often travel to the same place twice, but Dreams Punta Cana and their wonderful staff has broken that trend and we will definitely plan another memorable vacation with them. I had an amazing time at dreams all staff were so friendly. never bored always things going on. beach and pool were beautiful , i have never visited such a fantastic place ! all restraunts were amazin especially the chinease and french and the world cafe was great too !
Our stay at Dreams was the most relaxing 5 days I’ve ever had. The resort is beautiful and the staff is amazing!! We felt pampered from the time we arrived.
Our housekeeping lady was so sweet. She left towel figures in our room and decorated with fresh flowers each day.
The food in each restaurant was amazing and the service was wonderful. Everything was “no problem” and “it’s a pleasure.” I was very impressed with all of the staff we encountered, always smiling and going out of their way to help.
I would love to go back for another relaxing vacation!! We didn’t take our children with us on this trip, but the kids I saw were having a blast in the Kids Club.
Dreams was the first vacation I took with my boyfriend. We were very worried about food, being in a different country, water etc. This resort laid all of those fears to rest. It was the most incredible trip ever. The resort was GORGEOUS! I travel a lot in my career and this resort was at par with many top rated hotels in North America, as was the food.
I am a lactose-intolerant vegetarian who doesn’t drink alcohol so needless to say, I was VERY worried about what I’d eat and drink while away. I ate like a King! The food was great, everyone was very helpful in identifying any food allergies etc.
The grounds were immaculate. I was able to get a bed on the beach, chairs on the beach or by the pool at anytime that I wanted to. Drinks were abundant. The entertainment staff were beyond amazing! Each night was something we looked forward to!
The hotel even had a doctor who was very pleasant in helping us locate the Dominican version of Benadryl.
This resort was so far beyond our expectations and we finalized the amazing trip by getting engaged on the beaches at Dreams. We hope to return for our honeymoon and will forever go back to this resort!
We went for our honeymoon last year beginning May 17. (Dreams Punta Cana) The trip was absolutely great. We enjoyed every minute of it. A couple of issues for improvement would be the food/drinks tore up our stomachs and there were ants in the room, and it rained everyday. However, we still really enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back….. at a different time of the year for sure. Margarita our hostess throughout the trip was absolutely amazing and so was the rest of the staff!!
What can I say? What a wonderful resort. The food, location, views, pool, but mostly the people.
This by far was my most favorite vacation spot!
My husband and I were married under the beautiful gazebo on October 14, 2005 (when the hotel was Sunscape). We had the best week of our lives! The staff was wonderful, we loved the pool and the hotel was beautiful. We would love to come back now that the name has changed to Dreams and see if it could have possibly gotten even better! What an excellent 5 year anniversary trip that could be!
Had the most amazing time at Dreams Punta Cana at Christmas…….The staff especially Elizabeth ( preferred club) and 2pak were fantastic.
The hotel was far the best we have ever stayed in. The food was excellent and would love to return sometime soon.
Well done, you are doing a fantasic job and make everyones’ holiday perfect and hope one day we visit you again.

I recently visited Dreams for my first every trip out of the Country ( I lived in the US). I was extremely nervous to be traveling out of the country alone (I had recenly became single). The moment I arrived at the resort I was put at ease. Everyone was so nice and sincere. I felt competely secure walking around the resort alone. The resort was amazing. Great service and food. I would def. visit again. With or without someone.
I vistited Dreams in the beginning of April’10 with my sister, her kids and husbad. Me being a ‘third wheel’ didn’t feel good at first but just after first night after venturing out on my own I met wonderfull staff who made me feel welcomed. They were very frindly and I felt like I have met new friends not staff of the resort. Entertainment, food and drinks were wonderful. I would definitelly come back in the future.
My boyfriend and I stayed at the resort back in December. We had the most amazing time. We swam, snorkeled, kayaked, walked down the break taking beach front almost every day, and partied into the night almost every night. The resort was intimate and beautiful, the food was to die for, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and made our stay extraordinary. We cherish all of our memories of the vacation and plainly fell in love with it. In fact, we hope to marry there. For us, it’s our special home away from home and cannot wait to return.
I can truely say my trip to dreams punta cana was the best vacation i have ever had. It was my first time there but there is no doubt in my mind about going back again. Our family went for a wedding which we enjoyed to the fullest. The resort is beautiful, the food is amazing, the beach was stunning & the staff are excellent. Between the activities that went on day to day there was always something to keep you busy. The entertainment crew put off an amazing show every night. While being there I learned how to speak some spanish & how to do some new dance steps. No matter where you went on the resort there was always smiling faces including your own. You get to meet some really nice people & i wanna thank those people for making my trip the greatest trip of all. I well definitely be back again. Thank you dreams staff for everything.
Dreams Punta Cana was absolutely dreamey!! We took our two teenage kids for graduation trip and we all had such a great time! Everything from the accommodations to the beach parties to the food to the entertainment crew was fabulous. We made some long time friends there and can’t wait to be able to go back again for a visit. The shows were all very well done and the beach was relaxing and fun, with activities if you wanted to participate but lounge chairs and beds if you didn’t. All of the staff was courteous no matter where we went at the resort. And my husband loved his first spa visit! Thanks Dreams for making a wonderful memory for my family.
We went for a week for a friends wedding. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed. We were greeted with an amazing drink while waiting to check in,the grounds were absolutely spotless! All of the staff were super friendly. I’d have to say the best restaurant was the Mexican one. Such great food and amazing service. Would love to go back for sure!!
We went to DReams Punta Cana in April and had just the best time. of our lives. This was the 1st trip without kids adn it was just so fab… We wanted to stay longer then the week were were there. We meet so many new freinds…:) The staff by the pool works so hard to make you feel like joining in and the rest of them are so frinedly. I visited Dreams in June of 2009. I arranged the trip for 18 people, this was very nerve racking since all the pressure to find a great place, great food, great beach, was all on me. We all have some older people in our lives and they tend to be a bit particular. These all were some of my worries.
We arrived and all the worries went away with the guy handing out cold towels and girl with champange. This was the first sign to a great week.
Thanks to Dreams for making my trip a wonderful one. We are coming back this June, so be ready.
We went last year for a wedding and were extremely excited: my husband and i honeymooned at another Dreams and had a fantastic time so we figured Punta Cana would be the same. Unfortunately we were wrong. A lot of people (including my husband) got severely ill from drinking or eating something on site. One of the guys in our party actually spent a few days in a local hospital and had to postpone his flight home because he was admitted there. The rooms were much smaller, we had no tv remote and our air conditioning did not work. We told conciegre but no one ever came (we called repeatedly.) The beds were hard. Our keys kept demagnitizing on their own so we would have to trek all the way back to the front desk (VERY inconvinient given our location) after we had been out for the night. The meat in the hamburgers was not cooker properly and the restaurants – other than the Habachi – definately did not hit the mark. My suggestion would be to go to Dreams Los Cabos and leave Punta Cana be. The drive from the airport is long and scary as well. There is no atm inside which is odd since there is a “casino” (i use that term loosely as the “casino” was really just a handful of tables.) I blew all of my cash in the casino the first night not realizing there was no atm and then i could not go back again the entire trip! The pool is very large and beautiful and the games played during the day are quite entertaining; but I have to say, all in all, our trip was disappointing – and scary – and I dont think I ever want to return again.
I / We have been to Dreams Punta Cana many times…even when it was Sunscape The Beach. Our last stay was in January…10 days of sheer bliss!
The resort is AMAZING!
The staff is top notch…so friendly that you feel like family. There are many that I miss so much when I get home. In summary, they care.
The entertainment is the best that we have experienced in the DR. We watched them practice during the day…hard working and they expect perfection from themselves.
The pool is awesome…stretches from the lobby to the beach. The beach is huge and clean…love the fact that it is not overcrowded.
The resort is clean…a big deal for us! The housekeeping staff has integrity. It is important to themselves that they do a good job.
And, the food is wonderful. There is a huge variety and we love the no reservations policy.
No complaints from us…repeat customers over and over. We would love to come “back home” again this year…missing Dreams Punta Cana BIG TIME!
I had the best time at Dreams with my sister. It was my first time in Republic Dominicana and i absolutly fell in love with your country. The staff is just amazing. everything about the resort is like a dream 🙂 I would just love to go back!!! Please pick me!!! I want to go back and see my dominican friends and your beautiful country!!! ❤ 🙂
I spent a week in Mar at Dreams Punta Cana. I was just finishing a year on maternity leave and it was a much needed vacation after a very stressful 2 years.
Although the weather didn’t co-operate (it rained 5 out of 7 days… all day, not just “sun showers) which is no fault of anyones, there were things I wished I could have experienced more.
The entertainment staff had their work cut out the week I was there, and they didn’t fail. They ensured that all guests were acknowledged. Even if it just meant sitting with them under canopies and talking; getting to know the patrons.
The nightly shows were by far the most entertaining and amazing I have ever seen. They far surpassed my expecations and the dancers are truly amazing, kind and talented.
The disco was perfect. Dancing with the entertainment staff was a great experience and I truly had a blast.
I was worried about missing my babies all day every day, but I was so caught up in the Dominican “time” that I really didn’t.
The food was also excellent. Every restuarant was beyond amazing and even the “buffet” was over the top.
I would love the chance to win a 3 day trip to PC Dreams, if only to experience the true beauty and serenity of the resort. (hopefully without rain!!)
I miss this paradise soooo much !! Still dream about DREAMS every day !! The name says it all !! Everything was perfect I recommend it to everyone!! Would be a dream come true to go back !! Dreams Punta Cana was one of the best resorts we have stayed at. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the service was amazing and by far the best we ever had. I just got home from Dreams Punta Cana 4 days ago. My fiance and our two boys plus 16 other people travelled here for our wedding. It was truly a magical day. Having travelled with two small kids, my husband and I didn’t really have much time to experiece Dreams to the fullest. What I did experience at Dreams was amazing, the food, the shows, the staff, the wedding planner. It all far exceeded my expectations. I wish that I had a few days to spend with my husband in such a awesome place.
stayed at the dreams in december for a an awesome friend/family weddign on the beach. my best memories or whats left of them were staying up late enjoying a few mama wamas with whoever was around, it would be awesome to go back and say hi to my brothers julio and rolando on the entertainment team.
we( a big group of family and friends) was at dreams from april 10 -17. it was the first time me and my husband traveled south and were greatly pleased with it. me husband loved it so much that he’s already looking at prices for the next trip(which WILL be back to dreams)
everything was better that we ever imagined, the resort, the food, the service and most importantly the Staff.
WE can’t wait to go back again…….

I just got back from Dreams Punta Cana yesterday. A friend of mine got married at the resort and it was absolutlety beautiful. The reception was also beautiful. The staff is amazing. From the moment we stepped foot on the property to the moment we hopped on the bus back to the airport, we were well taken care of. At check-in we were greeted with “welcome home”. We knew we were in good hands from that moment on. They also have an excellent entertainment team. Everyone is extremely enthusiastic. This was definitely the best vacation ever.
Went to Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa in February 2010 and had a great time. The resort is very beautiful and the staff are very friendly. You must try the Dirty Monkey. Its the best drink that I ever had. Hope to go back soon. Thanks Dreams
