As we previously mentioned, the XVI Festival Gourmet International will take November 11th through November 21^st in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit and boast local master chefs at first class hotels in the area. This year, Dreams Villamagna and Dreams Puerto Vallarta will be participating and host celebrity chefs in Portofino Restaurant.

In honor of the event, we are featuring the profile of Chef Giovanni Romero, who has been invited to Dreams Villamagna for the Festival Gourmet International. If you’re a foodie visiting us during the Festival, Chef Romero’s Intense Fire Cuisine is sure to make your mouth sizzle!

Chef Giovanni Romero was born into a family of restaurateurs and after many years of learning from his relatives, he created the concept of Intense Fire Cooking. In 2009, he was named president of the Vatel Club, Toluca chapter and admitted into the select circle of the Academie Culinaire de France. His cooking style is intuitive and personal, and his artistic compositions are in perfect harmony of textures, flavors and aromas creating an unforgettable dining experience. Chef Romero is currently the owner of Grupo Mexicano de Gastronomía, a complex of Multiple Service Establishments.
