Celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day at Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa throughout the month of September! The Mexican War of Independence began on September 16, 1810 and now that day is celebrated each year making Mexico’s Independence Day the most important national holiday in the country. The resort will be celebrating the holiday with a special package and themed activities. 

During the month of September, we’re offering a special package including exceptional amenities and services in honor of Mexico’s Independence Day.  The package is complimentary for new bookings in a qualifying room category for arrival dates of the 12th to the 19th of September, or can be purchased for $20 throughout the month of September in all room categories.

Mexico’s Independence Day Package includes:

• 25 minute spa treatment / Mayan Ritual

In addition to this exciting package, we’re hosting several activities recognizing the Mexican Culture at Dreams Puerto Aventuras.  Every Thursday in September, guests can enjoy cooking lessons with our Executive Chef followed by a tequila tasting. On September 15th, we’re hosting a Mexican Show complete with a mariachi band and the broadcasting of the annual El Grito de la Independencia (“Cry of Independence”). The following day, September 16th, the resort will have a Mexican wrestling show featuring Mexican wrestling idols. 

The Explorer’s Club is also joining in the celebration by implementing a fun new program; Where your food comes from: Grow your own corn.  The program will teach children staying at the resort about the natural environment surrounding Dreams Puerto Aventuras.
