CENOTES

Cenotes (meaning “sacred well” in Mayan) are natural underground swimming holes. Go for a swim in the bright and clear turquoise pools, which are mineral-rich.  There are thousands of cenotes in the Yucatan peninsula, but a great option is to experience the cenotes named after the four elements: Earth, Wind, Fire and Air.

TULUM

Tulum – it’s a town, but also a breathtaking, oceanfront archaeological site. It is regarded as one of the most visually striking Mayan ruins because of the beautiful contrast of the Caribbean Sea and the ancient stone structures. The trendy, bohemian downtown is not to miss either with authentic, trendy and relaxed restaurants, bars and markets.

CANCUN NIGHTLIFE

The Cancun Hotel Zone is known for its nightclubs, bars, shows and entertainment. The best way to get the full nightlife experience is on a double-decker tour bus that provides drinks onboard and open bar access at all three of the major, infamous nightclubs of Cancun. You’ll enjoy live bongo music at the Congo Bar, games and dancing at Señor Frogs and incredible acrobatic performances and light shows at Coco Bongo.

XCARET

Built alongside the Xcaret Mayan ruins, this beachfront eco-archaeological park combines natural, historical and cultural attractions. Theme park guests can swim through a river winding through a replica of a Mayan village, swim with dolphins, find indigenous animals of the tropical region, watch shows at the theater and more.

GOLF

Also known as Land’s End — if you followed a line straight south, you would not touch land again until you hit the South Pole. At the base of the arch is Lover’s Beach!

Known for its nightlife, Cabo offers a variety of bars, breweries, wineries, lounges, cantinas, dance clubs and music venues.  A bar crawl is a great way to experience it all with stops at all the staples like Cabo Wabo and El Squid Roe.

RIDE A CAMEL

If riding a camel is on your bucket list, you can cross it off in Cabo. It may sound surprising to see camels in Mexico, but the desert landscape of Baja feels like home to these exotic animals. A ride along the beach with views of the sparkling Sea of Cortez, followed by a tequila tasting and an authentic Mexican meal is an ideal afternoon in Cabo.

SPOT A WHALE IN THE WILD

From December to April, it’s possible to witness the migration of whales from the Arctic to the Baja Peninsula. Whales have the longest migratory journey of any mammal and travel to the warm waters of Cabo to breed. You can observe these majestic mammals in their natural habitat with a whale watching tour.
