This WOW Story began with a family’s second visit to Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. On the day of their latest arrival, mom, Lindsey, took on the task of searching for the resort’s Entertainment Team, because during the family’s first stay, her daughter, Molly, had made very good friends with them. Although everything during their recent stay was excellent, one unfortunate accident did occur. Little Molly hurt her toe near the pool, and to keep her from hurting it even more, the property’s doctor advised her not to immerse her foot in any pool water or the ocean. To make things worse, the doctor also recommended that Molly spend the last four days of her stay in a wheelchair. Knowing this, Andrea – the Entertainment Supervisor – assumed the responsibility of showing Molly that Dreams Tulum has many more fun activities to enjoy aside from the pool and beach!
The day before the family was scheduled to leave the resort, Andrea asked Molly’s parents for permission to spend the afternoon with their daughter, telling them that her team had prepared something very special for the young girl. Molly’s adventure began as Andrea led her to the lobby where she told her that she would be the resort’s “General Manager” for the day! What better way to kick off a day of fun surprises than with an important meeting with the Vice President of Operations for Mexico – South Caribbean, Mr. Eric Freudenthaler!
When the new Dreams Tulum General Manager arrived at Mr. Freudenthaler’s office, his assistant Sandra Díaz, was waiting for her with some important documents for her to sign. After Molly completed them, Sandra indicated that Mr. Freudenthaler was ready to meet with her. Upon her entrance into his office, the Vice President of Operations welcomed Molly to the team and assigned her first tasks to be completed as the new General Manager. Then, he said goodbye to her with a smile, and Molly proceeded to delegate tasks to her team, calling upon Mr. Orlando Linche, the Entertainment Manager, and Ruben Miranda, the Reception Manager, to explain their responsibilities first. At the end of the staff meeting, Sandra confirmed that Molly’s lunch was prepared and ready for her, so Andrea and Molly went to the World Café restaurant to share a delicious meal.
After delighting her stomach, it was time to pamper and relax her mind. For her next surprise, Andrea informed Molly that she had an appointment scheduled at the resort’s Dreams Spa by Pevonia®! Upon her arrival, the Spa Manager, Mr. Carlos Ricaño, welcomed her and gave her a tour of the world-class facilities. At the end of the tour, Molly registered for her appointment at the reception desk, and her hair styling and manicure service began. Next, she enjoyed a moment of total relaxation in the hydrotherapy area. Finally, leaving the Spa feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, Molly joined Andrea at Coco Café where Brando, the resort’s Entertainment Assistant, was waiting for them with a special mini chef costume for Molly to wear during her baking class led by Chef Jesus Villalpando.
Ultimately, after a fun-filled day, Molly had no doubt that at Dreams Tulum,
