Our incredible International Coastal Cleanup Day team at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa!

In commemoration of International Coastal Cleanup Day, celebrated Saturday, September 21, 2019, Dreams Punta Cana wished to contribute its grain of sand to the cause and carried out a beach cleaning on the public beach of El Macao.

At Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa, we strive to keep our coasts clean and our oceans safe.

This activity was attended by various members of our Executive Committee, Operating Committee, and collaborators from different areas. The team was also accompanied by Mrs. Aracelis Valdés, president of the Association of Sellers and Fishermen of Playa Macao Uvero (ASOVPESMU), as well as the navy lieutenant, Pablo Garcia De León (commander of the Macao zone for the Dominican Navy) and some members of his staff.

Together, the team collected around 180 pounds of waste in more than 19 bags. The beach looked spotless!
