The Bridal Guide editorial photo shoot concluded with some truly incredible shots at the neighboring eco-archeological park, Xcaret. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the park, the whimsical bridal looks that were captured appeared like they were right out of a fairytale.
The first shot was by a beautiful cenote (natural sinkhole), with water so clear it acted almost like a mirror.
This video shows the complete Cenote:
The next look was inspired by the Mayan culture, with a shot in a traditional canoe. The look is very unique.
We then held a shoot with a flock of flamingos. They got a little camera shy before the model arrived, so the shoot was done on a closed “set”. Here’s a sneak peak at the model flamingos.
Our next supporting models were a bit more cooperative.
Our second boat was bright, flowery and totally girly!
The final look featured an amazing hairpiece made from Birds of Paradise. This flower was the perfect choice as it is tropical and captivating.
Thanks for following along the last three days of behind the scenes coverage ofhte Bridal Guide photo shoot with the Mexico Tourism Board and Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. We cannot wait to see the stories that develop from all three days of images! We’ll keep you posted as the phots are published in Bridal Guide Magazine so you can experience the finished product!
We’ve always known that Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa was the perfect backdrop for destination weddings, so we were beyond excited when Bridal Guide Magazine asked us to host their “on-location” editorial fashion shoot highlighting gorgeous options for bridal gowns and accessories. With additional partnership with the Mexico Tourism Board – we cannot wait to see these shots come to life on the magazine pages! Be part of the action with some behind the scenes shots…
Each day of the shoot has a distinct theme. The theme for day one was “elegant” featuring classic and timeless gowns and accessories that really wowed. It was impossible not to get lost in the story line of a gorgeous bride in stunning dresses and a handsome groom in sleek suits.
The first shot of the day was the couple (Bailey and Natalia – amazing models) walking along the beach:
Next up was the bride being serenaded by Mariachis. Listen to them sing! The whole team was loving it! This is the actual band that real Dreams Tulum brides use….aren’t they adorable?!
Next we moved over to the charming chapel. Bridal Guide loved the vibrant blue color and I think you’ll agree the bride really stood out. And notice the intricate doors. The shot provided the perfect mix of Mexican-hacienda with modern bride.
Here’s a still shot of the bride inside the chapel:
And a look at the perfect bouquets the local florist put together for the shoot:
After a quick gown change the bride returned to the chapel, along with the groom. This shot is the epitome of chic:
Next stop, the Agave Garden:
Followed by a sweet serenade:
Day one concluded with a final shot of the couple cuddling on a bridge:
Stay tuned for more behind scenes videos and snapshots from the Bridal Guide photo shoot at Dreams Tulum. The theme for tomorrow’s shoot is “Retro” – we hear it involves shuffleboard, a lifeguard stand, and hammocks. We can hardly wait!!!! Come back tomorrow to see more behind the scene shots and videos.
