Happy #TravelTuesday! Last week, our newest property, Dreams Delight Playa Bonita Panama, hosted a welcome reception for SITE’s Global Conference.
Founded in 1973, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) is comprised of 2,000 members who are incentive travel professionals representing 90 countries.
This year, Panama was selected for the SITE GLOBAL CONFERENCE from November 5-7. The conference included three days of education sessions, networking activities and also time to get to know the culture and historic wonders of Panama.

Happy Friday! We had our dancing shoes on and our ears tuned for the Opera Maya concert event at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa on May 25th! Opera Maya helped raise money for the Tulum Foundation and brought people together to celebrate traditional Mexican music.

At Dreams Resorts & Spas, we pride ourselves on throwing an unforgettable fiesta in honor of Cinco de Mayo! Cinco de Mayo is celebrated every year on May 5 to commemorate the Mexican Army’s unlikely victory over French forces in the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
On this special holiday, guests of Dreams Resorts & Spas enjoyed a fun-filled day of Mexican hospitality, colorful decorations, traditional Mexican music, games and entertainment. Later in the evening, guests were treated to a starlight BBQ on the beach with musical entertainment, margaritas and food for everyone!

Cinco de Mayo celebrations at Dreams Resorts & Spas!
Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa proudly brought the rich harmonies and captivating vocals of Opera Maya’s “Brass and Woodwinds Ensemble” to more than 180 guests this summer in an exclusive Dreams Tulum performance. Guests enjoyed authentic Mexican cuisine while the accomplished ensemble of musicians and vocalists took them on an entrancing musical escape in paradise. The stunning performance concluded in a standing ovation in honor of the renowned Opera Maya.

September 4th – Monday Night Football Tailgate Kick-Off Party
Are you ready for some football?! Every Monday night, we’ll be having American-style tailgate parties with plenty of food and fun – but it all begins with a huge tailgate kick-off party on Thursday, September 4th. This party, in honor of the first game of the NFL season, will be celebrated with a big party on the beach including tailgate food and drink favorites! Football activities for all ages may even be held during the day. See how Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana threw down for the season kick-off last year!

September 16th – Mexico’s Independence Day
¡Viva la Mexico! This is a great day to be in Mexico (or one of our great properties in the Dominican Republic)! Celebrate the colorful Mexican heritage with a giant fiesta all-day and night with games, activities, food, drinks and more – perfect for the entire family. Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa had a big nighttime party, complete with mariachi band last year!

OCTOBER
All October-Long – MLB Playoffs & World Series
Join us during the MLB Playoffs & the World Series games throughout October and you’ll get to watch the games on the beach (weather-permitting) with an array of snacks, beer and treats! Baseball-themed games and activities may be held as well!
October 13th – Canadian Thanksgiving Day
Our Canadian guests will get to enjoy a celebration all-day long! Kids in the Explorer’s Clubs will get to enjoy special activities and arts & crafts, while beach games will be held for guests of all ages. End the day with a Thanksgiving Feast and a special menu in our restaurants! It looks like Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa had a great time playing football on the beach last year!

October 31st – Halloween
BOO – Spooky antics will be held all day long for this traditional holiday! Kids can dress up for a special day of pumpkin carving, costume contests (they can design their own if they wish), arts & crafts and trick-or-treating. Guests of all ages can enjoy games throughout the day and a special Halloween ball at night with entertainment, food and fun. We encourage everyone to bring their costumes for this festive bash! November 20th – Mexican Revolution
November 20th marks the beginning of the Mexican Revolution and as night falls the party begins! Dancing, drinking and great family fun mark this Mexican Tradition. In the late evening the party really starts rolling (adults-only)! The awesome staff at Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa were excellent hosts for their party last year!

November 27th – America’s Thanksgiving Day
Come to Dreams Resorts & Spas for your Thanksgiving this year! The day will begin with the telecast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade – meanwhile the kids will enjoy a day full of arts & crafts, turkey calling, history lessons with the Pilgrims and more at the Explorer’s Club. Play football on the beach or watch it on the TV into the night – we’ll have a massive traditional Thanksgiving feast waiting for you with pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, multiple side dishes, and of course.. Oktoberfest is Back!
If you missed out on this October-long celebration last year – you need to make it to one of our resorts for this German food and entertainment festival! Enjoy authentic German dishes – such as brats, sausages, pretzels with beer cheese, pastries and more. An array of refreshing German beers will be waiting for the adults! Feel free to bring your festive costumes and enjoy folklore music – this celebration is held at participating resorts.
