On the fourth day, they said, ‘See ya later, we have to go gather up the kids.’ I was astonished. Kids? ‘The kids love the kid’s club, so we don’t see them till bedtime.’”

April 22nd is an increasingly important holiday – Earth Day! Here at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa we took the opportunity to celebrate the Earth, make our own contributions to nature and help some of our youngest guests better understand the importance of protecting our Earth by celebrating Earth Day every day!

About one month ago, the Explorer’s Club at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa added a brand new, exciting hour-long activity to its program of offerings: the Nature & Jungle Tour. Each week, the Explorer’s Club kids don their safari outfits and explore the hotel grounds learning about all the different plants and animals they find. Signs around the hotel grounds explain the different flora and fauna in that area. Plus, the Explorer’s Club leaders provide lots of fun facts about our resort’s residents. It’s a great time for all the kids, especially when some animals come walking or flying by!

Kids look forward to Taino Fridays at the Explorer’s Club at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa! Every Friday, the Explorer’s Kids learn about the history of the Taino, a group indigenous to the Dominican Republic. With the help of the Explorer’s Club staff, the kids make costumes of traditional Taino garb and parade their fashions. The fun doesn’t stop there! The Explorer’s kids also learn the Areito Dance, go treasure hunting in the jungle and, to top it all off, have a fun-filled picnic.
