Blogger Review: Dreams Tulum

We love to hear about guest experiences at Dreams Resorts & Spas! In a recent blog post, Caitlin L. of Sunny Mommy Travels, a travel professional and blogger, shared her experiences from a recent vacation to Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. Here are her top three reasons to visit Dreams Tulum:

  1. Tulum – The area is untouched. The beach is stunning and perfect for people who love to walk and explore. The ruins are only a ten minute drive away.  You can actually walk to them along the beach if you’re up for a bit of a hike.  #Tulum is a peaceful paradise filled with history and beauty.
  2. Kids Club – This was the first time in our history of travelling that our little guys were big enough to participate in many of the kids activities. They made friends, tried new and exciting things and felt super cool walking past us with their big group of buddies.  We equally enjoyed spying on them and sitting in the audience watching them perform in the cutest shows ever.
  3. Food – Ok, I’ve heard it a million times, but wow. The food in Mexico is amazing!! We lived off the local cuisine. Tacos, salsa verde, guacamole, yum yum yum.

#DreamsTulum was a wonderful spot for our family vacation, we can’t wait to return again!

Blogger Review: Dreams Palm Beach

We love to hear about guest experiences at Dreams Resorts & Spas! Kelly Mazur, a popular travel blogger, had some great things to say about her recent stay at Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana in the beautiful Dominican Republic. Here are a couple excerpts from her review. Please visit her blog to read her full experience at Dreams Palm Beach!

“When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a cold hand towel and a drink… awesome service! Every staff member I encountered at Dreams Palm Beach was courteous and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there. Another perk I quickly noticed was that no wristbands are required here! Nothing ruins vacation pictures more than a bright blue plastic bracelet with your fancy dinner clothes….”

“For a resort of this size (500 rooms) you get an impressive number of restaurants – 8 in total. For breakfast and lunch you have a buffet, snack bar and cafe. For dinner you have the buffet and 5 a la cartes to choose from. Guests get unlimited al la carte dinners, and no reservations are required. The “Himitsu” asian restaurant is the most popular for dinner by far, followed by the “Portofino” Italian restaurant.”

“Not far from the pools lies the long beach. White sand and blue ocean makes this the most inviting part of the resort. Even though it was a perfectly hot day the beach didn’t look crowded – which is a huge plus for me!”

A Vacation to Dreams Los Cabos

We found this awesome blog post on The Kramer Family who recently spent their first vacation without their young daughter at Dreams Los Cabos Resort & Spa and we just had to share it with you!

So Eric and I headed off to Cabo last Thursday, two days after my 28th birthday. Booking a vacation sans baby was something I really struggled with, we went back and forth for weeks about going and then one day at work I just called a travel agent and made her book us something in Cabo. I was just tired of sitting on the decision. Although, two days after paying for our 5 night stay at an all inclusive in Cabo, Eric came home to find me on the kitchen floor sobbing “who leaves their 5 month old baby for a week!?!”

Although now that we did it, I have to say it may have been one of the best decisions we could have made for us. It was fabulous to reconnect, not be one a schedule and just be us again. Our thoughts around going on this vacation was that we are the foundation of this family and while Raegan is always our main concern, Eric and I can’t forget about the two that started this whole family. Us! Cabo was seriously a reset button in so many ways.

We stayed at the Dreams Los Cabos, the resort was beautiful, clean and actually really quiet despite the fact that there were kids allowed. There were a few young babies there and of course I had to go chat with their mamas so I could get some of my baby fix in for the day.

Real Honeymoon at Dreams Villamagna

Recent bride, Danielle, documented her wedding planning, wedding day and “honeymoon in paradise” on PhillyMag.com’s wedding blog, the Wedding Bulletin. After a beautiful wedding in Rehobeth Beach, DE, Danielle and her new husband jetted off to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico for their honeymoon. They spent the first half of their honeymoon at Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta. Of course we love reading about guest experiences at our resort, so we thought we’d take the opportunity to share her post with our fans and followers.  Here’s a little of what Danielle had to say about her stay with us:

“We spent five days Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta, which was beautiful, simply relaxing and perfect for spending quiet time together. The beach was gorgeous and the ocean clear and warm, so we were happy camping out there reading and napping. Highlights of the week were definitely our beach dinner (the sunset was gorgeous, and the food was very good for an all-inclusive), the gorgeous soaking tub, and of course, the balcony Jacuzzi. We had lots of champagne, and surprisingly, we really enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony and in bed. It was so nice to be able to ease into the day after so much craziness.”

Congrats to the newly married couple! To read more details about Danielle & Tim’s honeymoon, click here for the full blog.
