Dreams Punta Cana Opens Its Doors to Nido de Amor Elementary School

The team at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa loves seeing smiling faces on each and every face at our resort, even if they aren’t official guests!

The executives and managers of Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa recently had the pleasure of hosting 40 children from Nido de Amor Elementary School located in La Altagracia Province. Nido de Amor works with special needs children with conditions such as Autism, Down syndrome, deafness, and physical disabilities.

The exciting field trip took the children through a tour of the resort’s facilities, where the staff had the opportunity to interact with the children and teach them all about life at Dreams Punta Cana. At the end of the tour, children enjoyed lunch, gifts and a fun show with silly clowns. Take a look at their day!

Dreams Punta Cana Makes Donation to Nearby Communities

Everyday at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa is like paradise. While the pristine beaches and lavish rooms are amazing for a guest’s vacation, the staff at  Dreams Punta Cana works hard to ensure that even an ordinary day at home can be exciting. That is why the staff of Dreams Punta Cana traveled to the La Altagracia Province to lend a help hand to a community in need. Led by General Manager Mr. Yann Le Guillou, the group traveled to the Bateyes, also known as sugar workers’ towns, of Los Verdes and Los Coquitos to help contribute to the overall growth and development of the community. The goal was to improve the quality of life for the residents by supplying them with food, new clothing and shoes. More than 150 people benefited from their efforts. Take a look at their day!

We are proud to announce that Dreams Los Cabos was recently featured in the Rainforest Alliance’s “Exemplary Practices for Sustainable Tourism” publication for their community service in their local town of San José del Cabo. Here is what they’ve done!

  • Fundraisers: Staff at Dreams Los Cabos participated in “The Telethon”, a large fundraiser that supports the rehabilitation of children with various disabilities, and “The Festival of Values, Music and Color”!
  • Care for the Elderly: The staff have also supported Grandparents’ Day Home of San José del Cabo and the San Miguel Grandparents’ Club, two organizations that assist elders in local communities. They donated food and clothing, and they also took their personal time to volunteer for them!
  • Estuary Clean-Up: They also did a clean-up of the local estuary of San José del Cabo by joining the General Directorate of the Ecology and Environment of Los Cabos. This estuary is an area frequently used for recreation, and over 90 employees contributed to protecting their rich biodiversity.
