Dreams Resorts & Spas is fully committed to providing guests a unique and entertaining family experience that will offer everyone memories for years to come. Where else would you be able to take part in a live turtle release at one of the world’s most stunning beaches? A few weeks ago, guests did just that at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa. Everyone was all-smiles as they watched the tiny turtles make their landmark journey to the sea.
Check out this short video of the turtles being release into Banderas Bay and several pictures of the event.

Dreams Puerto Vallarta released one of the last groups of baby turtles of the season recently. We celebrated with a Manager Cocktail Party before guests released the baby turtles into their natural environment. This marks a milestone for the resort. We are proud to have released 57,000 baby turtles this season exceeding the number of turtles released last season by 1,000.
The Dreaming of Freedom Turtle Program is one of the most fascinating activities at the resort! Our guests of all ages really enjoy watching the tiny creatures make their way back home into the water. Earlier this season we gave you a glimpse of the behind the scenes to give you a better understanding of the program and now we are celebrating the conclusion of the season. June – late Octoboer is the typical season for the turtle program. We hope you get the opportunity to be a part of our next release in the springtime.

Turtle Conservation Program Released 57,000 turtles this season.
While many of you may have seen our blog posts and pictures of the turtle releases at Dreams Resorts & Spas, what we don’t always feature is the behind the scenes photos of our turtle conservation program. There is a lot more than meets the eye from the time the mother Caray Green Sea Turtles lay their eggs on our beach to when our guests get to experience the miracle of releasing these tiny creatures back into their natural habitat.
It is one of our top priorities at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa to ensure the continued safety of the delicate sea turtle eggs that are laid on our beach. We monitor our beaches on a daily basis for new egg nests and work with local protection agencies to carefully move the eggs out of harms way. We provide a daily hatching report to our guests once the baby turtles have emerged from their nests, giving guests the opportunity to release these precious wonders into the ocean at sunset.
Here’s a look “behind the scenes” of what takes place before a turtle release at Dreams Puerto Vallarta:

It’s that time of the year again! From now through the fall, mother Caray Green Sea Turtles will visit the beaches in the Riviera Maya to lay their eggs. At Dreams Resorts & Spas, we work very hard to protect the egg nests to ensure that these natural wonders and kept out of harm’s way. Once the eggs hatch, we allow our guests to take part in a turtle release event where they can hold the baby turtle before setting it free.

At Dreams Los Cabos Resort & Spa, it is our goal to make dreams come true for every couple who says “I Do” at our resort. Although all weddings at our resort are memorable, this particular couple had the opportunity to share a once in a lifetime experience with their wedding guests!
Throughout the year at Dreams Los Cabos, mother Caray Green Sea Turtles lay their eggs on our beaches. As part of our environmental efforts, we protect these nests until the baby turtles hatch and are ready to be released into the wild.
This bride and groom was fortunate enough that their wedding happened to fall on the same day that a group of baby turtles were ready to be set free. We worked with the couple to arrange a private turtle release as part of their wedding day celebration.
