Weddings here at Dreams Resorts & Spas are often like fairytales. The bride, groom and their families travel from their hometown to a far away place to exchange vows and live happily ever after. In fact, many of our brides will agree that saying “I do” at our resorts is a dream come true.
So on this Wedding Wednesday, we wanted to share one couple’s beautiful wedding with you that took place recently at Dreams Punta Cana Resort & Spa. It’s always wedding season at Dreams Resorts & Spas and we just can’t get enough of all the beautiful brides and handsome grooms that tie the knot with us.
Today, we wanted to share some photos with you of a recent couple’s wedding at Dreams Puerto Vallarta, taken by Brandi Smyth Photography. The wedding, which the couple called a “Mexican Wedding Fiesta” was featured on the well-known wedding blog, Style Me Pretty. As soon as we saw the post, we knew we had to share it with our fans and followers!
We think the shabby chic details and cool aqua and coral color pallet are the perfect compliment to the ambiance that Dreams Puerto Vallarta set for this couple’s special day. What do you think? 
We’re always thrilled to see the beautiful and creative wedding ideas that come out of our resorts! In fact, we were delighted when we stumbled on this blog post over at Style Me Pretty Destinations, a blog and resource site devoted to destination weddings. The article focuses on Bride Bailey and Groom Chad, who recently got married at Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa. The resort provided the perfect backdrop for their event, and all the details and scenery were captured impeccably by photographer Jillian Mitchell. The couple certainly embraced the beauty of the Riviera Nayarit and were able to create a uniquely personalized ceremony and reception that really wowed their guests (and us!).

The ceremony took place on the beach, framed by the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Madre mountains.
Lush jungle surroundings provided the perfect scenery for photos.
The couple used the natural cliff-face as a backdrop for formal portraits.
The centerpieces and arrangements utilized authentic Mexican flora.
The patio at night was a perfect place to view the setting sun.

In honor of Mex Monday, we thought we’d take the opportunity to showcase some pictures of a recent wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. We love all weddings at our resort and this one was no different! The happy couple was married on September 19, 2010 in an intimate ceremony on the beach and celebrated their nuptials with a brightly colored orange and fuchsia poolside reception overlooking the ocean.
The pictures were taken by Elizabeth Medina Photography, who did an excellent job of capturing all of the little details of their special day. Take a look:
