On a trip to Dreams La Romana, Lucy and her family got a nice surprise from the staff while on their stay in paradise. Read on to find out what this WOW moment was!
Lucy received an awesome surprise while on her stay at Dreams La Romana!
The staff at Dreams La Romana asked Lucy and her family to go to the lounge of the resort because they had a little surprise for Lucy. At 7:30 pm, the staff was waiting for Lucy and her family and the family took the time to thank the resort for the sash and balloons that had been placed in their room for Lucy’s 7th birthday.
Paola, a staff member of Dreams La Romana asked the family to follow her, and as they walked, Paola said to Lucy, “Lucy, I’ve received a letter from your three fairies: Elsa, Alice and Belle (Lucy’s fairies in her bedroom at home). Paola said the fairies told her how kind Lucy is and that they know she always makes a wish when she finds an eyelash. Lucy was in total shock that Paola knew about her wishes!
Paola led Lucy and her family to the beach and once they arrived, they saw a beautifully decorated table, a man playing the saxophone, a photographer, a videographer and a chef in a white jacket. Lucy’s family and the staff at Dreams La Romana sang happy birthday and photos were taken.
When everyone sat down, Paola looked at Lucy and asked, “when you find an eyelash, what is the wish you always make?” Lucy replied that all she ever wished for was to be a mermaid. Paola asked Lucy to turn around and look at the ocean.
As everyone turned, there was a spotlight shining on a huge floating rock and as everyone got closer, the family realized that there was a MERMAID sitting on top of the rock! Lucy couldn’t believe her eyes and burst into tears of excitement. When the mermaid got to the shore, Lucy immediately went to hug mermaid Vicky who was so beautiful and so real.
As a birthday gift, mermaid Vicky gave Lucy a mermaid costume, which Lucy tried on right away! Afterwards, everyone sat down for a wonderful meal and Lucy couldn’t stop looking at mermaid Vicky.
Lucy loved getting her own mermaid costume from mermaid Vicky and the staff at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa!
The staff at Dreams La Romana gave Lucy the surprise of a lifetime and one she will never forget! We are thankful to the staff for taking this extra step to make a family’s stay extra special.
