Bridal Guide Photo Shoot at Dreams Tulum: Day Three

The Bridal Guide editorial photo shoot concluded with some truly incredible shots at the neighboring eco-archeological park, Xcaret. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the park, the whimsical bridal looks that were captured appeared like they were right out of a fairytale.

The first shot was by a beautiful cenote (natural sinkhole), with water so clear it acted almost like a mirror.

The next look was inspired by the Mayan culture, with a shot in a traditional canoe. The look is very unique.


 
We then held a shoot with a flock of flamingos. They got a little camera shy before the model arrived, so the shoot was done on a closed “set”. Here’s a sneak peak at the model flamingos.

Our next supporting models were a bit more cooperative.

Our second boat was bright, flowery and totally girly!

The final look featured an amazing hairpiece made from Birds of Paradise. This flower was the perfect choice as it is tropical and captivating.

Bridal Guide Photo Shoot at Dreams Tulum: Day Two

It was another stunning day of shooting at Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa! The editorial and creative teams at Bridal Guide Magazine are so creative! Take a look at how they paired fashion, location and accessories to create looks that are totally glam…with a retro vibe.

Beach bombshell. The lifeguard stand was the perfect prop for this 50’s style gown. Very fun and flirty.

This shot included a classic all-American look with red shoes, white dress, blue pool and an old fashioned bottle of Coca-Cola.

A stroll down the aisle…or shuffle board court.

This shot had a very “Alice in Wonderland” feel with the resort’s oversized chess board as the setting. And notice the shoes…no bride’s look is complete without a pair of Dreams slippers!

Everyone was in love with this dress…and the look is very fitting for a destination wedding.

That’s a wrap for day two!

For the 3rd day of the shoot, the Mexico Tourism Board arranged for us to shoot at Xcaret (Riviera Maya’s top eco archaeological park). The theme for the looks will be very whimsical, and we are so excited to see how it turns out because the model will be posing with a flock of flamingos. Let’s hope they aren’t divas on the set! Bloggers Meet Up in Mexico

Dreams Resorts & Spas has teamed up with the Mexico Tourism Board to organize a retreat for influential family and travel bloggers to experience the beauty and excitement that Mexico has to offer. Dreams Riviera Cancun will be providing the luxurious accommodations for everyone attending the event.  From our Unlimited-Luxury® privileges to those extra little touches, we are excited to help make this event truly memorable for all of the participants.

The Bloggers Meet Up kicks off on Wednesday, May 18th with a cocktail party hosted by Dreams Riviera Cancun. There will be plenty of delicious cocktails, gourmet dishes and music to get the party started!

The Mexico Tourism Board has helped us arrange an exciting line-up of activities for the bloggers, including a Canopy and Cenote Tour, a night on the town in Playa del Carmen and an excursion to Xcaret. Event attendees will also have the opportunity to partake in a LIVE on-site Travelers’ Night In (TNI) discussion on Thursday May 19, 2011. If you are not already familiar with TNI, it is a weekly travel discussion organized by Zip Set Go and is considered the largest, live online travel chat with an average of 500 participants each week.

Of course the bloggers will have plenty of down time to enjoy all of the amenities that Dreams Riviera Cancun has to offer! To wrap up the trip, our sister resort Secrets Silversands will host a dinner party on Friday evening, giving our guests one last night of fun before departing for home in the morning.

Dreams Cancun Resort & Spa is pleased to now offer a Suncare Specialist to our guests as part of our Unlimited-Luxury® privileges. The Suncare Specialist, from Suncare Central, is available poolside everyday at our resort to assist our guests with proper skin care information and advice. The goal is to help our guests balance healthy sun exposure with the right natural products to keep them safe and healthy while vacationing under the Mexican sun!
 
Guests can receive complimentary personal skin care advice from the knowledgeable suncare specialist. For those who are interested, there is also a selection of natural, biodegradable suncare products available for purchase from Suncare Central. All of their products meet the environmentally-friendly standards for excursions such as the Delphinus® Dolphin Experience, Xel-ha and Xcaret, which all require natural products to maintain the health of the park and animals.
